Recovering Compassion

Recovering Compassion is for anyone interested in recovering their inherent compassionate nature to ease the suffering that comes with being human. Participants can be anyone who wishes to explore compassion as a solution to suffering. This group is also great for in recovery from addictions, compulsions, food issues and addictive relationship patterns. This monthly, donation-based support group has been lead by Adrienne Glasser, LCSW, RDMT, or other professionals trained in both meditation and how to help those in recovery, to maintain group safety.
The format of the meeting is guided meditation, a brief reading and talk about ways to ease suffering through compassion, and sharing based on the teachings. The group shares much like a self-help meeting about their personal experience and how they relate to the teachings and/or meditation in their every day life.
